"How Do You Like Adult Women? Uh, Don't get me wrong!" - Vanessa
Music for pic: The Distillers - Beat Your Heart Out
Here's one of the projects of game characters that I've been drawing all this time, I already drew Blue Mary from King Of Fighters, but now it's turn of one of my favorite characters there, maybe the best for me, and it's this sexy badass gal called Vanessa. I really love her character design (My sis likes her dressing XD) and also I know how to play with her and piss off my sisters punching their characters as hell, and I've made her punch those Zero and Igniz fags... Yep, I love her X3... ok... I'm done . She's drawn in my own anime style...
I used a model picture of a real girl (Jaime Pressly... <_< ) to have an idea of her pose if you wondered about it O_o.
Right now I'm very proud of this drawing, but as I already know I'll see the flaws soon, so I'm just enjoying the moment .
The music what inspired me to draw her was all the "Coral Fang" album by The Distillers, those guys and Brody rock so much , I suggest you to listen that song below the quote, also Garbage and Marķa Baracuda were good music to listen too.
Hope you like it as I do! Thankyou so much for watching, all comments are apreciated =3
I'll be working on an art trade and in a friend's request now, so the next drawing of Angel, from KoF too, won't be soon, uhm... so much things to do, I feel like want to hang myself from a noose... heh, just kidding, I'm in a happy mood
VERY nice job on this. I can definitely see how drawing the figure from a photo has helped, on her arms and shoulders especially. The creases on her jeans at the top of her hips are a nice touch, too, and well drawn - they look almost real!
I think you have a tendency to taper the arms when you draw them, you didn't do that very much here, but I would still suggest making the hands bigger, and the fingers a little longer and...stronger, sort of. Unless of course, it's part of your style - I'm no expert on anime.
One lowww pair of pants. o_o But that's how the character is...I just was noticing it.
Also, if her pants are of the tight variety as they appear to be, they should taper a little more toward her knees (when they're cut out of the picture) or, have some crease lines to show how they hang off the body.
Then it might be good to tone down the sheen on her hair a little bit, and make it so it extends more around the sides of her head.
I do really like this piece, though. You have a lovely style of drawing eyes - they're nice and shiny, the eyelids are well done, and they fit into the rest of the picture flawlessly. You've also developed a soft and warm shading style, which is different than what one usually sees in anime (I think), but it goes perfectly with your art, and makes it more unique.
Hey thankyou so much, another big comment, YAY!
Yeah, I thought to keep myself practicing with hands... they're my big trouble right now, but I'll practice as you said, to make them longer and of course I don't think that "It's My Syle" will be an excuse for it XD.
The shine in her head it's a good ovbservation, It'll be good to make it not sho shiny
Oh, those low pants "ala" Britney... heh, well, I'll se how to make them not look to fall down
Thankyou so much for the tips, it's very helpful :3

You're welcome, I'm glad my comments can be of help. ^_^
Well, lots of shine looks is nice, but you seem to have more subtle shading style, so having the sheen in a different shape might be good. Perhaps you could break it up more over her hair, if you know what I mean.
However much you've practiced so far with hands, it's really payed off. They're VERY good, much better than mine. When you're drawing them, it may help to make them a little bigger than what seems right to you.
Luckily she has those strappy-type things on, otherwise pants falling down would be a problem!
